If ever there was a reason to prevent Democrats from gaining power, this is it.
No, not the sham impeachment ‘inquiry’ that “pencil neck” Rep. Adam Schiff of California is running. It’s worse than that.
Now that President Trump’s border fences are going up and border security arrangements with other countries including Mexico are dramatically lowering illegal immigration, Democrats are devising a work-around: They are planning to import third-world impoverished individuals by the tens of thousands by calling them “climate refugees.”
As Breitbart News reports, Democratic lawmakers have already drafted a bill that calls for importing at least 50,000 of the refugees into the U.S. per year, in spite of the damage it would cause to Americans’ wages (it would have a lowering effect because they would work for less money) and rents.
“America will continue to stand tall as a safe haven for immigrants,” said Rep. Nydia Velázquez (D-NY), a Puerto Rican native and Chairwoman of the House Committee on Small Business.
“Despite this Administration’s efforts to strip the world’s most vulnerable populations of refuge … this legislation will not only reaffirm our nation’s longstanding role as a home to those fleeing conflict and disasters, but it will also update it to reflect changes to our world brought on by a changing climate,” she added.
The reality is, Democrats and their allies in the “establishment” media have lied about the ‘causes’ of climate change for so long — that humans and our modern lifestyle and technology is to blame — that far too many Americans actually believe the propaganda.
So chances are very good they would definitely support the import of millions of poor from around the globe, if they thought they were doing something ‘good’ as a result of ‘climate change.’
That’s what makes the plan so insidious: Democrats, who are assured of good salaries as lawmakers and lots of perks and benefits during and after their careers in politics, don’t really care about their constituents and aren’t going to tell them how this legislation will negatively impact them.
The bill, called the “Climate Displaced Persons Act,” offers green cards to all “climate-displaced persons…[who] are individuals who have been forcibly displaced by climate change or climate-induced disruption, such as sea-level rise, glacial outburst floods, desertification or fires … there could be as many as 200 million CDPs by 2050 globally,” a statement from Velázquez‘s office said.
The statement adds that at a minimum, 50,000 CDPs would be allowed into the country beginning next year, giving them “access resettlement opportunities.” (Related: Climate change hoax COLLAPSES as new science finds human activity has virtually zero impact on global temperatures.)
Mind you, legislation is not likely to be popular with a majority of Americans, including Democrat voters who would not want to see their jobs taken and their opportunities lessened by a massive wave of immigrants, basically. Recall that several political analysts have said they believe that President Trump swamped Hillary Clinton in 2016 almost solely on his message of combating illegal immigration and building a border wall.
And now, as we head into a new presidential and congressional election cycle, Democrats are proposing importing millions of impoverished people over the next several years (so they can eventually turn them all into Democratic voters) — just the opposite message that got Trump elected.
Plus, the issue of “climate change” may resonate with a substantial number of Millennials, but according to several surveys recently asking voters what their priorities are for Congress and the president, the issue of the climate ranks low.
In fact, a recent poll in March 2018 found that most Americans don’t think climate change is going to affect them negatively (or the planet) in their lifetimes.
If Democrats want to start importing millions of poor people from around the world on that premise alone, good luck trying to remain a viable political party.
